Browser storage

Cookie Policy

FootShadow uses cookies and similar browser storage to run the game, remember progress, protect sessions, and—only where enabled and allowed—support advertising.

Last updated 27 September 2026

What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember information on your device. Some expire when your session ends; others remain until they expire or you remove them.

Essential storage

  • Session and security cookies used to keep sign-in and requests working safely.
  • Local browser storage used to preserve in-progress games, completed attempts, scores, streaks, and profile preferences.
  • Consent records used to remember your privacy choices where a consent tool is presented.

Advertising

When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense or Google Ad Manager may use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver, limit, and measure ads, including rewarded ads and interstitials. Non-essential advertising storage is used only where permitted and, where required, after you make a choice through our consent interface.

Your controls

You can use the consent controls shown by FootShadow, where available, and your browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, saved progress, profiles, or ranked attempts from working correctly. Clearing local storage may permanently remove game history held only on that device.

Updates and questions

We will update this policy if the storage technologies used by FootShadow materially change. For questions about cookies or consent, contact privacy@footshadow.com.
