This policy explains the information FootShadow processes when you play, use a profile, contact us, or interact with advertising, and the choices available to you.

Information we process
- Gameplay information, such as guesses, scores, hints, challenge progress, streaks, and league results.
- Profile information you choose to provide, such as a display name and avatar.
- Technical information ordinarily sent by your browser, including IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, requested pages, and diagnostic logs.
- Messages and contact details you provide when you contact FootShadow.
- Advertising and consent signals when advertising features are enabled and permitted.
How we use information
- Provide daily and league challenges, calculate scores, save progress, and display rankings.
- Protect the integrity and security of the game, prevent abuse, and diagnose faults.
- Respond to support, privacy, and rights requests.
- Measure and improve the service and, where enabled, fund it through advertising.
Storage and sharing
Some game progress and profile settings may be stored locally in your browser. Published challenge data and media are delivered through our hosting and database providers. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, measure, or support FootShadow, or when law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Legal bases and retention
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our service, legitimate interests in operating and securing FootShadow, consent for optional technologies where required, and compliance with legal obligations. We retain information only as long as necessary for those purposes, then delete or anonymise it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also clear locally stored game data through your browser. Contact privacy@footshadow.com to make a request or raise a concern.
Children and changes
FootShadow is not directed to children below the age at which they may independently consent to online services in their country. We may update this policy as the game evolves; material changes will be highlighted in the service and the date above will be revised.
